Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. I currently offer telehealth sessions for clients located in Washington State. These are held via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. If you're interested in in-person sessions, feel free to reach out to see if that’s available.

The first session is about getting to know one another. You don’t need to prepare or present anything perfectly. We'll talk about what brought you in, your goals (if you know them), and I’ll share how I work. My approach is intuitive and collaborative — we’ll move at your pace.

My work draws from Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and body-based modalities such as Somatic Resilience and Touch Skills. I also offer a unique option called Table Work, which gently incorporates supported touch to help the nervous system settle.

Table Work is a hands-on healing modality where we work with the body in a supported, clothed, and consent-driven way. You remain in charge of the pace, and it’s always optional. Many clients find it especially helpful for integrating deeper emotional or somatic material.

Developmental trauma (DT) or adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are ruptures, losses, neglect or abuse that happen in early life. It can also be passed down through the generations or cultures and is referred to as intergenerational trauma. We all have patterns of resistance and the more adverse childhood experiences we have, the more we may need to work through. Finding your way to a sense of safety is the key.

If you’re someone who values self-awareness, wants to feel more at home in your body, or senses that there’s something beneath the surface asking to be heard — this work can help. You don’t need to have it all figured out. This space is here to meet you where you are.

Yes. I currently accept Premera and Regence insurance plans. If you're unsure about your coverage, it's best to call your provider to confirm mental health benefits.
-
That’s completely okay. You don’t have to be “good” at therapy to begin. This work is about tuning into yourself — however that looks for you. There’s no wrong way to start.
-
Sometimes, yes. She likes to curl up nearby while we work. She’s intuitive in her own way and has been known to show up right when she’s needed most. If you're not a fan of cats, or are allergic, just let me know.
